Thesis Title: The Settelment in Tel Azekah during the Early Bronze Age in light of Ceramic Assambledge
Advisors: Prof. Oded Lipschits and Dr. Yitzhak Paz
The Early Bronze Age is a fascinating period characterised by a significant social development in ancient Israel – urbanisation. My research entails a thorough analysis and classification of all the pottery from this period unearthed during 12 years of excavations at Tel Azekah. By synthesizing these findings, I aim to reconstruct a settlement sequence for the site during this era and evaluate the significance of Tel Azekah within the broader regional context.
Projects:
I am currently working in the TAU Institute of Archaeology as a curator of the Institute's study collection, and also as storage rooms' operator. One of the projects that I'm working on right now is to digitize all of the collection in a way that will allow scholars to access each item for studying from any place.
