רקע אקדמי:

 

ד"ר אדריאן קרופניק הינו בעל תואר ראשון בסוציולוגיה מאוניברסיטת בואנוס איירס ותואר שני בלימודים בינלאומיים מאוניברסיטת טורקואטו די טלה (Torcuato Di Tella University), בבואנוס איירס. לאחר מכן השתתף ד"ר קרופניק בתוכנית חילופי סטודנטים של בית הספר ללימודים בינלאומיים מתקדמים באוניברסיטת ג'ונס הופקינס ועבד בארגון הג'וינט, בתפקיד מתאם מחקר לפיתוח הקהילה היהודית באמריקה הלטינית. בנוסף, לימד ד"ר קרופניק היסטוריה בסמינר לרבנים באמריקה הלטינית ובבית הספר "תרבות". בהמשך התמחה בלימודי ישראל באוניברסיטת ברנדייס וקיבל תואר שני מאוניברסיטת חיפה. את לימודי הדוקטורט בהיסטוריה סיים באוניברסיטת תל אביב ומאז עובד כחוקר באוניברסיטת פוטסדם, באוניברסיטה החופשית של ברלין ובמרכז לחקר התפוצות ע"ש גולדשטיין-גורן באוניברסיטת תל אביב.
