מידע כללי

עוסקת בתחום של סוציולוגיה של החינוך. נושאי המחקר מתייחסים לאי שוויון במערכת החינוך, להיבטים סוציולוגיים בעבודתם של מנהלים ומורים במערכת החינוך, בקשרי בית הספר והקהילה עם דגש על מעורבות הורים.

 

אני מעורבת במספר מחקרים:  באופק העתידי של בנים ובנות בחינוך העל יסודי, הממומן על ידי משרד הבטחון האחד בתמיכת קרן רוטשילד-קיסריה, מחקר נוסף עוסק בקידום הנגישות וההשתלבות בהשכלה גבוהה של קבוצות מיעוט. המחקר מתמקד בהערכה של פרויקט לקידום קבוצות מהקהילה האתיופית הלומדים באוניברסיטה. עבודות מחקריות נוספות  עוסקות במעורבות הורים במערכת החינוך וביחסים בין מורים והורים בבית הספר ובתפקידם של מנהלים בחברה משתנה.

 

כיום, היום אני ממלאת תפקיד של ראש החוג למדיניות ומינהל בחינוך, אני חברה בועדה האקדמית של תלמידי התואר השלישי בקרן איס"ף ובועדה של יחסי הורים-מורים בחברה משתנה של היוזמה למחקר יישומי בחינוך של האקדמיה הלאומית למדעים ועורכת משנה בכתב בעת עיונים במינהל החינוך וארגונו.

 

אני פעילה בוועד הורים בבית הספר של ילדי, בכדי לקדם שותפות הורים- בית ספר, שהיא מועילה ומקדמת.

 

התפיסה המנחה אותי היא שהמחקר עומד במרכז העבודה האקדמית באוניברסיטה ותפיסה זו אני מנסה להנחיל לתלמידי. העשייה המחקרית מפתחת בפרט ראיה בקורתית, סקרנית וספקנית לגבי המציאות החברתית ומשנה את ההסתכלות שלנו עליה. מתוך גישה זו, אני רואה את תפקידה של האקדמיה להוביל לשינוי חברתי ולהשפיע על עיצובה של מדיניות החינוך.

תחומי מחקר: אי-שיוויון בקרב כוחות ההוראה, פמיניזציה במינהל החינוך, היבטים סוציולוגיים של ההוראה והמינהל החינוכי.
 
תחומי הוראה: שיטות מחקר וסטטיסטיקה, מנהיגות בחינוך, סוציולוגיה של ההוראה.
