תחום המחקר העיקרי שלי הוא עיבוד משפטים: האופן שבו אנו מעבדים, בזמן אמת, את מילות המשפט שאנו קוראים או שומעים ויוצרים מהן את משמעות המשפט השלם. המחקר במעבדתי, המעבדה לעיבוד משפטים, עוסק הן בהיבטים לקסיקליים-סמנטיים של עיבוד משפטים, והן בהיבטים מבניים-תחביריים של התהליך, בדגש על עיבוד משפטים בעברית והאופן שבו דקדוק השפה משפיע על אסטרטגיות העיבוד בה. המחקר משתמש הן במדדים התנהגותיים (דירוגים, זמני תגובה) והן במדדים אלקטרופיזיולוגיים (מדידת הפעילות החשמלית במוח).
