יונתן בן-דב, פרופסור חבר, מלמד תנ"ך, ספרות בית שני וספרות המזרח הקדום בחוג למקרא באוניברסיטת תל אביב. חבר סגל לשעבר באוניברסיטת חיפה, ובעברו עמית (fellow) במכונים ללימודים מתקדמים באוניברסיטה העברית וב Durham (UK), וכן במכון ללימודי העולם העתיק באוניברסיטת ניו יורק. מנהל שותף של הפרוייקט Scripta Qumranica Electronica לשיחזור ודיגיטציה של מגילות מדבר יהודה. השתתף בפרסום הרשמי של המגילות בסידרה Discoveries in the Judaen Desert וממשך ליטול חלק פעיל בשיפור המהדורות.
